Spot-On Replacement of Original Nutone Vent Motor
This motor was a spot-on replacement of the original Nutone vent motor that lasted 38 years. Installation was easy and there was only one little hiccup: the rectangular slot for the power outlets (one to plug in the motor, the other for the light) of the motor-frame assembly is slightly smaller than the original slot. However, I could still access the power outlets and it was not material to the final installation. The vent fan works as expected and is quieter than the fan it replaced. It is extremely loud. Unfortunately, I cannot access the attic to be able to replace the entire unit with a quieter model, so I had to settle for replacing the burnt out motor in the existing unit.
