Good quality materials. Installation is very dependent on your specific mounting location. May require some ingenuity to make a safe installation.
The materials are solid and quality. The instructions reasonably clear. The mounting on one wall and one bannister, a common mounting configuration requires some amount of ingenuity to make it safe. But there is no magic here. Installation should be performed thoughtfully. I would buy this product again and recommend it. Just don’t expect it to come with a magic wand that allows a no brainer installation.

Looks nice but a little tricky to adjust and close.
Works great if tinkered with as in the hinge side had to be raised off the floor to allow the gate to be horizontal when closed. The latch is difficult to operate so we just don't use it at all. We have extended the gate past the post and rest it on the supplied adjustable support strut.
