Don't spend a bunch on a simple solution, this is the strap lock you need!
With all of the the $20 and up solutions, needing over sized screws, or "built into the strap"...it can be quite expensive to protect you guitar from a drop. These are easy put on, easy to take off, work with most straps and strap buttons (some oversized buttons won't work but they are not common), and they even have a loop you can clip your cable into to keep it from coming unplugged during a performance. Unusual design of strap lock works well on standard stock oem strap end pins
This design of strap locks works well . its a nice tight fit meaning i am not concerned about this clip forcing itself off during play performance . i admit i was sceptical , but seeing it on the guitar , testing it out i was like "oh yeah i see , this is actually a good idea" . now the price on the other hand . i feel you should get 3 sets for what i paid . the nice part is this strap lock - you do not need to install anything different . it works with the stnd end pins that come on any electric guitar .Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Easy-to-install strap-securing clips. No drilling required!
Neat and easy to install snap-on clip keeps the guitar strap leather end from pulling off the strap button. The only one of 4 basses on which this clip did not work was a 1965 Framus which had smaller than now-standard strap spools/buttons. I bought new buttons and got a perfect capture with the D'Addario clips. Nicely engineered product.
