Too expensive for what you get.
Like it states in the description, this product will detour pest from getting to your feeder. It will not prevent it completely. It does make it harder and more painful for an animal to climb on, but if they want it bad enough, they will go right over it. I bought this item to prevent pest from destroying my solar chargers on my feeders. I still have coons getting to the controller on my feeder. I guess my biggest complaint would be the fact that it takes all three pieces of this set to surround each leg of the feeder. That means you would have to buy this item three times to do one feeder and it still doesn't eliminate the problem. My next feeder will be a varmint proof design. Looks Great, Minimally Effective
Professional packaging protected the product well in shipment, product installed easily on my game feeder legs with provided hardware. Monitored with game camera, and observed raccoons and squirrels climbing feeder legs just as they did before installing the “shark teeth” product. Racoons are now unhappy........
I installed the shark teeth on a gravity pole feeder that the raccoons terrorize. I previously greased the pole and would see the slide marks from their feet..........until the grease was mostly removed and then they ate until they popped......my trail camera showed one trying to climb and leaping off the pole........another was shaking his front paw and he left........ Critter deterrent for outdoor applications
Because it's made from stainless steel, it's suited for outdoor applications. I needed to keep raccoons and bears off of my platform elevated fish feeder. I spray painted it with a camouflage color to make it less noticeable.
