No need to pay more ... I think.
This is a simple leaf rake. It's much more effective than a skimmer net to remove debris off the pool floor. I can't imagine what additional benefit one costing three times as much would provide. This rake is made of plastic, so my prediction is that if you leave it out in the sun all season it will become brittle. Love this Leaf Rake
I was a little skeptical when I ordered this because it stated if will "scoop" debris off the floor of your pool. Guess what?? IT DOES !! There is a plastic lip that hangs over the netting allowing you to place the rake on the floor of your pool and gently move it around the floor of the pool. Of course, it's going to work better providing you don't have a lot of wrinkles in the bottom of your pool. The net is high quality. It's what I would call "flexibly stiff"?? Does that make sense??? I have a lot of Cottonwood trees in my area. Consequently, I get a lot of "cotton" in my pool. The rakes I've purchased in the past have very flimsy netting and if I use my fingers to try to get the cotton out of the netting, I end up with a small hole. Grrr!! I have riding horses and bale hay, so fingernails are not an issue. This net is firm, yet pliable allowing me to go in with my fingers to sweep the seam and gather the cotton.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Pic is totally DIFFERENT than ACTUAL ITEM
I thought I was buying a Heavy Duty Deep Skimmer Rake Net and according to what I see in the Picture the net has Small Holles But instead I Received a Small Regular (nothing Heavy Duty) Shallow Rake Net with large holes Now I have to find time off from my busy schedule to return it. Sorry In this case The Picture Tell A Lot Of Lies.
