They only lasted 30 minutes...
This was advertised as the best axles that Traxxas has to offer. With the price of $100.00 for the set I just figured that they had put a lot into them to make them durable, but this is not the case...When I pushed my vehicle at what I considered a moderate pace the rear axles separated at the rear diff output post....I got replacements and the same thing happened again...I am very disappointed with this product.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Pins Fall Out
Ordered these for my son's slash 4x4. We installed the axles and ran it up the road and back one time, we heard a noise coming from the rear. Looked and saw that the upper boot was ripped and the pin was gone. We were unable to locate the pin. I had to order a rebuild kit for the axles. Not sure if this was a faulty item or a common occurrence. They are sturdy and appear to be good quality and have done great after rebuilding it.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

The drive shafts are The Slah's weak point. If you want a car that lasts then buy a tamiya. it doesn't really have any weaknesses.
The gaters cut themselves up and it all fell apart after only 10 drives. That's less than the standard shafts can hold.

Works great!
I know there were mixed reviews on these. But I went for it anyway. I couldn't be happier. They are durable and easy to install. However I find that they are slightly stiff, as in when the suspension is off the control arms don't flop around due to the resistance of the drive shafts. So they fight against the suspension. Not really an upgrade
These axles are slightly better than stock and will work great if you are using a stock Traxxas motor. If you have any performance upgrades I recommend the MIP heavy duty axles, they are much stronger. Don’t hold up on 3S
First maiden voyage, 5 min into first pack. Rear axle snaps, and wheel goes rolling by. Busted in half right at the axle pin, outer hub. Wishing I had gone MIP. Would not recommend. Traxxas won’t warranty a wear and tear item. So here I am, new truck, not a battery pack through it and some junk CVD’s
