Great Product, but way to much Advertising to buy more Features
Almost one of the last programs out there that does much of the multi media in one suite and work with Windows 10. I don't care for the fact that they go over board with selling you more products and pop ups on your personal computer. Also Nero loves updating your Media Center to the latest, which splits parts of your different uses into two Media Centers to again advertise. However; putting that to the side, it works great and has most of the tools you would need. It's to bad they took out the movie player several years back. A Swiss army knife that can't even cut
This software is dreadful. It's a group of apps that do nothing easy, completely or right. The main interface is confusing and disappears everytime you select to run an app from it. To run another app you have to restart the interface to see all the apps again. I ran the "Find duplicate images" app and it found the duplicate images and suggested which images to delete. I OKed the app to delete the dupes then looked in the directory where the images were supposed to have been deleted and none of the dupes had been deleted. When you install the bloated piece of junk the installation will freeze if you are missing a certain set of Microsoft apps installed. The installation doesn't tell you what's missing, it just freezes. The way I found to fix the problem was to Google the problem and apparently I'm not the only one that had that problem. I'm so glad I only paid about $30 for it. I'm taking it off my computer because I won't be using it for anything and taking it off will save me some drive space. Nero Platinum 2018 - better than ever!
It installed much easier than the earlier versions and it found my older drives (which 2016 and 2017 did not for some reason). The new menus and backgrounds alone made the new version better for me...Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
