Perfect for cleaning metal or scuffing between coats of paint
These scotch brite pads are perfect for any project that requires scuffing or cleaning. I mainly bought them to scuff automotive paint before clear-coating , but they also work great for cleaning oxidation from any type of metal. On stainless steel or aluminum they leave a nice satin finish and last quite a long time. For heavier cleaning or scuffing you might want the green ones, but the maroon pads are ideal for my painting needs. if you have never tried them buy a box .and give it a try. they can be used for other things beside scuffing primer.
