Pretty Good for the Price
After previously using an IPS 4k monitor, I switched to this monitor to get better response times for gaming. I barely noticed the difference between the two monitors in terms of response time (if at all), but clearly noticed a difference in image quality between this monitor and Acer's B276HK, which is an IPS panel. That being said, the image quality on this monitor is fine, and for the price I bought it for ($240) this monitor was an excellent deal. I have purchased multiple refurbished Acer monitors, and both of the 4k monitors I purchased had bent mounting prongs on the stand. This is the only flaw I found with this monitor (no dead pixels). Simply using pliers to bend the mounting prongs back into place allows the monitor to be mounted.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Refurbished

Great price on refurb, poor documentation
It took a while to figure out how to get the most of this Acer 28". There is no reason for such awkward controls. If you have time to figure things out for yourself, you may like this eventually. I have mounted it to a swing arm and like it a lot now. But the first few hours of ownership were very frustrating. Never got a call back from tech support. Had to figure it out myself which ruined the ownership experience. But if you have time to figure it out on your own, I was able to get it to work just fine with my 13" Macbook Pro Retina early 2015 running El Captain eventually. Faded and Unsaturated
I am a photographer and not a gamer. What I see on the screen needs to represent what the client wants to see. The screen appears way too bright and the image is unsaturated after it is processed. I showed a picture to a model after I edited it and she asked why it was so dark. I got the monitor in late July and just now received it back from Acer with NTF on the explanation. I am assuming it means "nothing to fix" the display is sharp but is a NO BUY for photographers if t this represents them all. Well I guess I am stuck with it. Any gamers want to buy it from me? I am getting better results with the DVI cable which is what they probably used to diagnose it. You might want to let customers know that the refurbs might not work very good with HDMI, it still pales in comparison with the 2k monitor I have.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Refurbished

My son loves them!
My son saved up and bought 3 of these monitors to replace 2 big 1080p tvs that he was using. I agree with him that they look great with great detail. When he plays euro truck simulator 2, it looks awesome when he uses nvidia surround which changes all monitors to one resolution and drag the game across all 3 monitors. Took a minute to put together the first one, but then once we figured out how it went together it got a lot easier. Best I ever saw !!
This screen takes the cake! The infancy of 4K is upon us, and the transfers and styles of the images produced by these many providers show the rough edges of this newest medium. This display will show the improvements and embellishments of this new format as they arrive. It is good to be on the cutting edge. Florescent is the only bad word here . . . Did you hear anything?
