Over all I like the ladder. There are 3 things I don't like. 1. The instructions are more about safety than about how to use the ladder, how it functions. 2. After extending it up, the ladder sways in a little from it's own weight. 3. The weight of the ladder is more than I expected. The Good things I like about it are, 1. It is compact in size. 2. The set up time is fast. 3. The operation is easy. 4. The design is Ingenious. 5. It doesn't take much space to store. Over all, It is perfect for most jobs on my camper and RV. It's very compact, light duty
This type of ladder is good for occasional use. It bends slightly when leaning against wall, so it's not as sturdy as a fiberglass extension ladder, but it's similar to aluminum extension ladders that have flex. It's super light and compact. First impressions and final opinion
Right out of the box I was questioning quality and reliability of the design.. Especially since I do not like heights! After understanding how the ladder functions and a few trial uses.. I really was sold on it quite quickly! I would recommend that one extending each section.. To give the section a subtle up and down thrust to feel the ladders spring loaded locks are fully engaged for safety and reassurance. Then move onto extending the next section with the same up and down thrusting motion to again ensure that sections spring loaded pins are fully engaged. Aside from that as long as all other ladder safety rules apply, this ladder will be a great addition for anyones arsenal of home tools. The Perfect Extension Ladder
This ladder is used to access an attic hatch & the usual gutters & things around the house. Works great, very good quality. Definitely choose one with the bumpers between the rungs as they will safe your fingers from a serious pinching. The unit is a bit heavy for the Missus but very manageable for me. Needs to Include Operating Manual
At first, I was really disappointed in that the ladder appeared to have a major design flaw that rendered the ladder extremely dangerous. Unless fully extended in the "A-frame" mode, it would not lock in and became impossible to climb. Only after putting it back into "carry" mode and again trying to partially extend it, did I realize that is only one proper way to extend the "A-frame" height. Any sort of printed directions would have been very helpful. The ladder is heavier than I expected, but that is a good thing as far as it makes the ladder sturdier. I am sure that as I use the ladder more, I will become more adept at properly extending it. Great ladder, smooth operation and easily stored.
Looked at many ladders that stored easily. This one fit my needs and was affordable. As soon as I received it I used it to mount solar panels on an Airstream trailer and to cut some overhanging tree limbs. The ladder performed flawlessly and I never got my fingers pinched or had stability issues with the ladder. I thought that the lower price would result in a light-weight flimsy ladder but I was totally wrong.
