Scope is clear from edge to edge. Reticle is well suited for my purposes. Adjustments are acceptable, though not as crisp as higher cost optics. Adjustable optics are a plus and we're a requirement for my use. You could put out 3 times the money that you'd spend for the vortex scope n you'd get a better quality scope. However, it would not be much higher quality until you got up into the thousand dollar or more range. Hard to beat the what you can get out of this scope for the price. Clearer glass than other scopes in this price range with all of the features like a BDC recticle, high magnification and an adjustable objective. I bought this scope to go on a 17 WSM for target shooting and varmint hunting. I'm very pleased with the purchase.
