Remove the plastic rivets to replace this keyboard.
Lenovo Flex 5 1470 1570 Non-Backlit Laptop Keyboard
I spilled coffee on my Lenovo Flex 5 1470 and so thought I would replace the keyboard. I didn't realize when I bought the replacement that the original was actually glued into place with a bunch of plastic rivets. These can be removed with a soldering iron, taking care not to fry any of the components while removing the keyboard. Once you have the old keyboard in place you have to install the new keyboard and find a way of keeping it attached to the plastic which surrounds the keyboard. I used plastic glue sparingly and that does an OK job of attaching the keyboard securely except for a few spots in the middle where it does sag a bit. When I went to plug in the keyboard to the motherboard it didn't work. I then realized that the wiring for the keyboard was upside down so I twisted the wire so that the opposite side faces down and then the keyboard worked fine. It seems like it should go the other way but in my case I had to give it an extra twist and then clamp down the wires and the keyboard works fine. This is not illuminated so there will be a plug that doesn't get used on the motherboard which was for the back lighting. I hope this helps someone who is thinking of changing out this keyboard. It's a little bigger job than it first appears.
