Better than critics say!
Batman V Superman is really underrated for a superhero movie. I’ve never been a fan of DC Comics and much preferred Marvel because DC’s characters have always been overpowered and seemed one dimensional. Snyder has done an amazing job of building the DCEU that isn’t a replica of the MCU and made the DC roster interesting and complex. He is exploring what it really means to have literal gods in modern human society. If you’re looking for or expected mindless popcorn fare then just head over to Marvel. Also, this might be unpopular opinion but BatFleck was one of the best Batman interpretations. The idea of a jaded older more ruthless Batman fits well in the story and contrasts with Superman’s naïveté and optimism. Delete the Whedon Justice League and watch the Snyder Cut! I’m glad an artist like Zack Snyder is able to finish his art because I think DC screwed him over, but that’s corporate America.

Expected more for being 4k
First hour of the movie is boring the last portion of the movie is where the action starts. Good sound picture was ok I had higher expectations for this movie. Better story line and better picture quality would've 5 starred it.

Don't write this one off
After I learned what the JL was originally supposed to be, I got a new found appreciation for this film. I'm not sure if the Synder Cut will be what the original 2 part JL was going to be but I'm sure it will reflect better on this story's construction.

It felt like neither a Batman or Superman movie
I truly applaud the creativity and willingness to take risks. I found myself wondering why Superman had to be so dark literally and content wise? Why is there an overabundance of slow motion and bizarre dream sequences? Why so much obvious CGI? People won't walk out if you use practical effects. Why does lex have hair and talks like the riddler. Couldn't we get more charismatic villian?
