Antenna has different attachment than car.
The cars antenna cord is a different attachment than your antenna.

Poor amplification, mechanically works fine
The reception is poor with this antenna on my Alfa Romeo 164 with after market headunit. May work different on other vehicles, but for me I am not satisfied with its reception. For now, its fine for me as I dont listen to radio that much and I still have factory look tomy car.
