Dealer wanted $400.00???
My original camera failed because water got inside of it. This new camera looks identical to the old so I sealed all the seams in the casing just to be sure I didn't have a repeat failure. Dealer wanted 400$ for a new back up camera. If you're handy you can install this in under an hour. Great quality product, picture and price. It works great but isn't ideal by any standards.
It works great but really isn't a great value. It is expensive, especially if you have to have it installed. It is substandard because it is not waterproof and really should be. It is a pain in the neck to install; you have to remove one outside panel and 6 inside panels as well as a bunch of nuts and you will surely damage some of the panel clips. They could have made it so all you had to do is remove the actual camera with a couple screws but they made it uselessly complicated and expensive,Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Perfect fix for my cloudy backup camera view.
This was the fix for my 2011 Outback Subaru's cloudy backup camera. I tried everything to try and fix the problem. Including taking the old one out dissembling it, cleaning all the connections and lenses. It was still the same cloudy fuzzy picture. I ordered the new one (my original camera part number ended with an "A" and the new one ends with a "B") fit and worked perfectly.
