It'll work, don't expect top quality and you'll need to do some prep
Technically the box came as stated, but there are visible seams in the carpet on the sides due to their cutting process. One of the corners of my box was slightly crushed, may have happened in shipping but not sure. The box seems secure but to me, there was not nearly enough caulk on the seams for my liking so I'll be using 100% silicone sealant to ensure it'll be fine long term. The rear terminals are right behind the port wall so it may be tough to connect the sub wires to the terminals. The side of the box would have been much better instead of slightly tucked behind the wall. Also, the terminal had push posts that seem to accept 12 gauge or higher, I'll have to work to make my 10 gauge work. The cutout hole is not a perfect circle at all, hopefully won't run into issues. A lot of this is to be expected from a prefab box but their QC team needs some scrutiny. Hopefully I got the worst one of the batch and everyone else's will be better. If I can update this after I drop my sub in I will, these are just my thoughts as I received it and inspected it. If there's no update and you're wondering how it sounds, contract me on IG @arelgordon Update: I've been running this box for a few weeks and my sub likes it a lot. Not sure its tuned to 37 hz as stated but it does well at 37 hz and above, nothing to call hone about below 37 hz. No issues with the box not holding up or anything of the sort. Fof the price I recommend it.
