About this product

Product Information

The Microsoft Arc Touch Mouse Surface Edition makes use of innovative features to provide comfort and ease of use. BlueTrack wireless functionality allows you to use the mouse on almost any surface. Whether you are using it on a smooth glass tabletop, a carpeted floor, or a rough wood surface, it works unimpeded. This versatility means you can carry the wireless mouse with you anywhere and use it wherever you need. The Bluetooth connection lets you use it up to 30 feet away from your computer. It folds flat when not in use, so you can store it easily in any bag or carrying case. Weighing only a little over two ounces and taking little room, it is easy to carry along with your computers, tablets, and keyboard. It is produced with a sleek, black titanium exterior that offers an eye-catching design. The left and right buttons match the dark body and press down when you click them for accurate control. A center mouse button is replaced by the state-of-the-art touch strip. It will closely check for your finger movements and it uses haptic feedback to provide the sensation of a scroll wheel. Scrolling slowly is simple with the sensitive touchpad, and you can flick it for more rapid movement. You can use it for precision vertical scrolling, or double tap it to mimic a middle button press. This means it can be used with a large array of software and apps which require a full-featured mouse. Use it for gaming, browsing the internet, to scroll through a document while you type, or with an illustration app. Microsoft Windows 8, 8.1, and 10 support the Arc Touch Surface. Any product equipped with Bluetooth Smart Ready technology can be synced up with the mouse’s signal. Compatibility with all Microsoft Surface products, including the Surface Pro series, means you will not have to worry about the version you have. Simply curve the mouse up to power it on, and then connect it over your device’s signal. Your needed driver will automatically download.A curved design conforms naturally to the palm of your hand and provides easy grip. Both right-handed and left-handed users can use Arc Touch Surface accessories comfortably. Two AAA batteries are required for power. A green light flashes when you curve the mouse up into the on position. The light then turns off after a moment to save energy and allow the batteries to last longer. Compatible with low energy technology, your battery will drain slowly to give you a longer charge.Microsoft Arc Touch Surface mice offer a navigation solution for your compatible devices wherever you need them. Since it requires no USB dongle, swapping it between devices is as simple as connecting it via Bluetooth. This makes taking it with you between work, school, or around the house quick and easy. With a signal of up to 30 feet, it will not lose its signal while you are navigating on your device. The range allows you to use it from a distance or in a relaxed position with confidence.

Great mouse for on the go.

The Microsoft arc took me a little while to get used to because of the different design, but it is well worth it. The mouse is extremely accurate and connects very quickly after being turned on. The only reason I gave it four stars and not five us actually two parts, one the mouse doesn't always come on when you flex it, only about 10% of the time though. Also, whenever using the scrolling pad of the mouse I find that it quits working after a while sometimes, the remedy for this of course is turn it off then back on. Both of these issues happen relatively rarely but enough to warrant mention, if you can get the mouse for less than the $70 retail price do it!

  • Top critical review

Looks like a Microsoft Arc Touch, but it's just a cheap imitation.

If you want a middle button, don't even bother. The touch scroll on this is frustrating, nothing like the Microsoft version. It didn't stay connected very well either. I wouldn't really recommend this to anyway, if you really want this style I say spend the extra money and get a microsoft arc touch. I ended up going with different style, cause the price for the M$ one was a little high for me.

  • Great mouse, two small flaws.

The mouse itself is awesome. I have very narrow hands and long fingers, so it fits comfortably in my hand. I've had two issues with this mouse thus far. If you touch the two center buttons as a scroll wheel, the scroll bar on the surface goes nuts bouncing up and down. Only way I've found to fix it is to turn the mouse off and back on. Second flaw, the right mouse button doesn't register sometimes. Other than that, it's a fantastic mouse for a great price.

  • Great Mouse got even better with BlueTooth!

I have two traditional wireless Arc Touch mice (one for home and one for my work laptop). I'm very particular about the mouse I use. It's not often that one mouse can provide so much of the varying demands one can have. It must be comfortable to use for extended periods. Must have good response and fine control. And the bonus feature is its ability to fold flat for transport/travel (not to mention that it turns off when flattened). I recently purchased a Surface Pro 3 and it has only one USB port. I really had no expectation that I'd be lucky enough to get a Bluetooth version of this mouse, but woohoo....there it was! Thanks Microsoft!

  • First impression

It took me time to get used to this mouse, I still think it's not 100% comfortable. It's a good mouse for everyday, but scrolling is a little bit annoying. But it reacts great, and I don't have problems with the performance. Got it just few days back, so I can't say if it'll hold for long time. If you're looking for something basic, this is it.

  • Quality Product Ten Years Running.

I have had one of these ARCTOUCH meeces since 2012... This IS the mouse for the surface tablet. There are 3 different styles of the same thing. There is a black mouse that has a usb receiver. There is a grey bluetooth arctouch mouse. and a black bluetooth that has surface imprinted ..which is the one I received. I didnt think it would work with a bluetooth but it does... in which yes it did inspire me to do this review. Now there was a cheap knock off of this mouse that had come out a few years back. It never did work properly and did NOT have very good range. The ARCTOUCH mouse by Microsoft is superior to any other design that I have ever seen in my life. Batteries do last for months. Product has lasted for 8 years so far. The grey bluetooth does get oil and dirt buildup that did not clean off well and the thin rubber coating came off with the intense cleaning. (Black will NOT do this.) Overall? This unique design is still ahead of its time a decade later.

  • Great, but not perfect.

This Bluetooth mouse is a must have if you need to connect another device to the Surface's only USB port. It haves a beautiful and sleek design that matches the black Surface keyboard. It haves a great feel and is very comfortable, the only con is that sometimes it does not automatically connect when you turn it on and you have to go to settings to reconnect.

  • Great copy of Microsoft's original with USB2.4 Ghz dongle.

Only feature missing is the magnet to hold the wireless dongle else it feels the same. The newer Microsoft Arc Touch mouse is Bluetooth connected and Bluetooth seems cool but does not work reliably on all my computers. This folds flat compact mouse is great for mobile computing. It is a great value for the Price.

  • You get what you paid for

First of all...For the price I paid, it is an excellent replacement to Microsoft's Arc Mouse. Although the build quality is not the same (I own the original version), it works well. Pros: - Very affordable - Works as designed/Plug and play Cons -Build quality isn't that same. It won't last as long as the original I can already tell. Doesn't mean that it's bad quality, just not as good as Microsoft's. -Red vs Blue LED -Mine is not entirely flat when turned off. Overall, I'd recommend this purchase for light use/occasional travel. For heavy duty, invest in the original.

  • Great features

The mouse is great, the only slight criticism are the scrolling buttons which take some time to get used to
