Works great at 900 ft!
Fantastic for my house that sits 900 ft off the road. It does pick up my horses wandering 50 ft away on the other side of their fencing. I just moved it to the other side, which places it only 10 ft along side my driveway. Super easy to put up and move, if needed. I now know when the pizza guy arrives, deliveries, even when hubby gets home. The dogs have figured it out too, so they bark and run to the door as soon as it goes off too. Works well so far . Make sure all objects that move or can move across from it are eliminated. Also after battery install wrap the outside of the transmitter with electrical tape to make a positive water seal. Signal Works good at a distance and through bush . Deer make it go off more than once so that is a known . Good for peace of mind . Will try transmitter at a further distance and if it works will order another transmitter for unit . I found it easy to install. Works well for me. One thing I experience with this system occasionally is the receiver appears to sometimes pick up unwanted - or some type of - signals from certain types of vehicles (mostly commercial-type trucks) on an adjacent street. I believe this causes the receiver alert to sound when nothing has crossed the detection path of any of the motion sensors I have in place around the property.
