Great product to construct your own grow area.
Surprisingly thick and durable. I used this on metal shelving and it is a perfect size to wrap around and provide a three sided reflective area for my grow lights to reflect off of. Super reflective and my carnivorous plants are thriving because of the mylar.

Good quality but not lightproof.
I used this to cover some interior panels of a greenhouse. When the sun is behind it I can see through the Mylar so it’s definitely not 100% lightproof. It is very reflective and is fairly durable but I would not rely on it to blackout a room.
