Dryer Drum Roller Kit for Whirlpool
Aug-06-2016 Our dryer was making a lot of noise and we were getting ready to buy a new one, so I decided to take it apart to see what damage was done inside unit. Upon inspection it was just one of the wheels had gotten stuck and it worn a flat spot on it so I started looking for replacement parts and found this set, ordered it and received it in a week , I installed it and the unit has been running very quietly and at times I have to open it up to see if its running. These parts worked out great and good price and very simple to install. Generic, bad quality, and pictured item is not what is received.
To note, the picture is not what is received. The picture closely resembles the stock drum support wheels; however, the supports that are received match all the other generic supports that can be found across the internet. The reason that I bought this specific product is because the generic drum support wheels that I bought prior to these both fell apart after three uses. The rubber is attached to the plastic wheel in a lousy manner, which caused the rubber to shred off. (The rubber looked similar to that of a tractor trailer tire on the side of the road that exploded during driving.). They don't last long and are genetically made. They seem a good option because of the cheap price that can be found, but they turn out to be a waste of money.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Good value on roller kit
The rollers fit well & are close to the same quality as the originals. The plastic clips are a pain to get on but they hold good. Now one the other hand, the round metal clips supplied are complete crap! Stop the Noise
A couple of years ago we bought a NEW washer and dryer. The old ones were fairly quiet. The new ones made all kinds of weird sounds. Just as we got used to them the dryer started making an additional weird noise. After checking it out my husband confirmed what he thought - a flat spot on one of the dryer support drum rollers. He called around and was surprised at the prices PLUS he couldn't buy just one! So he checked on EBAY and there they were at a much lower cost. Problem solved!
The Whirlpool Dryer Belt Pulley Kit is exactly what I needed. My dryer had been making awful noises for more than a year before it just stopped. Since I had just loaded wet clothes into the dryer and had another load in the washer I had real incentive to try to solve the problem immediately. I quickly discovered a badly worn tension roller that had caused the belt to come off. I reinstalled the belt (several times that night) and ordered this.
