Lots of power great sq!
I bought this amp as a back up, but installed it to make sure it worked. I put it in place of my Hifonics Brutus 1600.4 and it plays my speakers just as loud and as clean. Thing is this amp is around half the size ( I mean small )and not near as power hungry ( only 75 amps, Brutus is 120 amps). So far it has not cut off for any reason and doesn't get real hot after an hour of play. I'm very satisfied and pleasntly surprised by this amplifier , if I could buy another I would.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Soundstream Trantula Nano TN4.900D 4 channel amp
I have it hooked up to two Focal Auditors 6.5 in the front and 2 Focal 6x9 on the back and it sounds very clear and loud. It produces a lot of clean power and does not clip or crackel when I turn up the volume (given you tune your radio and amp). It is crisp clear and tight. You are able to hear the minute details in the music along with the rest of the sound. I have also zero engine noise. It is a very good digital amplifier. Just as good on sound quality as the DB Drive A7 125.4 if not better. I'm yet to see if it gets hot have not touch the amp yet, but they say it stays cool. Amazed
Wow...extreme, clean, distortion-free power froma tiny form factor that fits under the seat. I am also extremely impressed by the value of this amplifier. The only small peeve I experienced was the high-pass to full-range to band-pass crossover switch. In my case I wanted to use full range, which is the middle position. There was no firm "click" setting for the middle so it was very difficult to get it locked into place. Compact and POWERFUL!
I saw the amp dyno video on this and I was sold. Recieved it and couldn't wait to hook it up. I replaced an hifonics Brutus 1200.4 with it and man, this amp is less than half the size of the Brutus but every bit as powerful. Both of the amps I mentioned are good, powerful amps, with great sq, only difference is the Soundstream is way smaller. 2 photos ; first is the Soundstream Trantula nano ; second is the Hifonics Brutus. That's the difference between class d ; and class a/b.
