Happy the dark remain held at bay ...
Bought as replacement for previous 6 led version, this version doesn't disappoint after 2 weeks of use. The 6 led version lasted some 15 years as both night and emergency light. The 16 led version introduces several welcome options: area/night light of 6 perpindicular leds, 10 leds for main flashlight. Light activates with power cut as expected, nightlight feature works for high or low. Ease of use and plug and play made me return rather than buying something fancy from Fenix, Olight, Streamlight, 4seven etc... internals of disassembled 6 led version included.

Great flashlights. Rechargeable. Long-lasting. Turns on when there is no power. I live out here in California. Earthquakes have become more frequent than ever before. I'm no scientist, but I would probably guess is this is due to the rainfall, California has been getting, going into the cracks of the ground. So the water must be making the fault line slippery.
