Great Trigger!!
I was a bit skeptical to begin with when I found this trigger. I figured there would be something that I didn't like. But the price was right, for a drop-in trigger assembly, so I decided to pull the trigger and get one. All I can say is... "WOW"!! I have been shooting AR15 rifle's for over 20 years, and I always did my own trigger jobs. I hated the idea of spending $200 and above on a "good" trigger. However, this RISE trigger is an amazing, consistent, super clean, drop-in trigger, for a single $100.00 bill!! I absolutely LOVE this trigger, and won't be doing my own trigger jobs anymore!! Better than stock but not great
I would not say that this is a true single stage trigger. There is a very grindy takeup before the actual break. In all fairness, the takeup is very short, but it's still there and it's not smooth at all. The actual break is crisp but it feels like more than 3.5lbs. I don't have a trigger gauge so this is strictly speculation. However, when compared to my Timney (which I know to be 3.5lbs), this trigger feels significantly heavier. I'd suggest either forking out the extra coin for a better trigger or getting a comparable, but significantly cheaper, polished mil-spec trigger.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Fallout 3.5 lb. drop-in trigger
To start out, the build quality on this $100 trigger is through the roof. I was impressed beyond expectation before it was ever even installed. Once in my rifle, I dry fired the trigger and it made my jaw drop. This is by no means a Timney or Geissele but I don't believe it was intended to be. This trigger has a SUPER short reset. This just came in today and I have fired only 100 rounds using it. Within 30 rounds I was double and triple tapping with this trigger more naturally than with any other trigger I've ever owned. As mentioned it is no Timney, it does not break as cleanly as one, and I would not use this for a target application but I believe I have found the perfect trigger for my drill gun. The short over-travel and quick reset allow for quicker follow-up shots as compared to my Geissele SSA as far as I've felt and experienced. BEWARE: Using a Lyman digital trigger pull gauge, the average of 10 trigger pulls was 3lb 2oz., a full 6 oz. lighter than advertised pull weight. I have zero problems with this but thought it was worth pointing out. Very minimal creep when cocked back by the bolt carrier with no finger on the trigger. After your first shot and trigger is eased off to it's reset, subsequent shots are dropped by a surprisingly crisp break. Great value, very quick trigger, light, delightfully crisp break, with short over-travel. This is a keeper, in my book.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Seems too good to be true
I received my trigger and it seems that where the hammer gets held by the trigger it was sanded or ground down. Hopefully this trigger was not a return or defective. I do not have a trigger weight measure but someone at the range shot my weapon and said they were a little scared when they went to take up the slack and it shot they said it felt like 1 pound(which is unsafe??). But if that grinding is factory then I really can't believe how amazing this trigger feels I had no double taps from the really light pull. there is no slack in this trigger its all right there crisp and clean with a few mm of over travel.

Trigger group
Ordered trigger just before Christmas, took a while to receive it due to holidays. Installed easily in my lower, tested with my gauge, showed about 4#, (gauge inaccurate?) Would love to take rifle to range and shoot, but, haven't received the upper rifle assy. that I also ordered for my new build. Smooth operater
My new rise armament RA - 140 super sporter trigger (3 1/2#) is the icing on the cake for my mid-range at-15. I use this one for 250-400 yard shooting. Smooth operation is the key when shooting long range , and this trigger has it.

Great upgrade.
I've put 3 of these in my ARs. All have been awesome upgrades to a standard milspec trigger. I have had no trouble at all with any of them. Nice decent medium pull with a quick reset. drop in trigger test
