Everyone has to find a mouthpiece they like and works for them. I have several clarinets (C,Bb, A G and Bb full bolum) and I have one of these mouth pieces for each of them. I play Ballads, Blues and Jazz style and it works great for me. I recommend you get several mouth pieces and experiment. Most music stores will let you try them and return the ones you decided against. I have found the mouthpiece/reed selection to make the biggest difference in my playing. Such subtle differences.
I love it!! A new mouthpiece won’t suddenly make you amazing. The jazz mouthpiece is definitely different from the B45 and if your looking for more bend I found it easier with the 5JB than the B45. They are both great and will deliver excellent tone quality but I put the 5JB on my everyday Bb for my practice sessions.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
