These were just what I was looking for. I want my home defense shotgun with one of these rounds in the chamber and the firing pin in the fired position so when needed in a HD situation I won't have to hit the slide release to rack a live round into the chamber. Or have to take the safety off either. We have a 2 year granddaughter so this is still a pretty safe HD condition. A-Zoom 12ga snap caps work great to function check or demo shotgun. Worked great in 870 pump, 1887 lever action, etc. Probably won't eject well from double-barrel or O/U if it has an ejector - as opposed to an extractor - because the caps weight close to a fully-loaded cartridge, not and empty shell.
