Easiest Way To Upgrade A Bathroom Fan
When I decided to replace my bathroom fan, I thought I'd have to climb into the attic to make the switch. Then I found this upgrade kit. After it arrived, it took about thirty minutes to swap the old, worn out motor and fan for the new one. Best of all, I didn't have to climb up into my attic. All of the work work was done inside the bathroom, below the ceiling. Nice! The instructions were clear and very easy to follow. No special tools or skill is required. Don't waist your time or money

Great Upgrade
Like so many, my home had the builder's grade exhaust fans installed. They were noisy and just didn't move enough air. I found this upgrade and though I would give it a try. I am very pleased with the results. The first replacement took me about 15 minutes to complete. 'Who reads instructions?' The next three took less than five minutes a piece. The fan noise was significantly reduced and the air flow was greatly increased as well. Use CAUTION when installing. Works well.
The unit works very well. The one problem I had was that the existing 690 box did not have the required tabs for the plastic deflector so I used a glue gun to affix it to the motor plate. Also, the existing slots were not quite wide enough for the new motor plate. I widened them with a metal saw. Works great now. Much quieter with less vibration.Verified purchase: Yes

Great upgrade!
This is a GREAT upgrade from the standard builder's grade, typical installation. Can't verify the percent quieter or air moved but it is very noticeable on both. Just installed my third, one to go. First install took a while to figure out and may have taken 15 - 20 minutes. On the one just completed, it took less than five minutes.
