I've purchased three of these leaf catchers. They hold up well for a couple seasons but the plastic & catch bag deteriorates. The lid will leak around the o-ring seal. If you buy one get a few extra o-rings. I bought extra bags so I can rotate them. When the catcher fills up just install a clean bag and keep rolling. That gives yo time to clean out the full bag. I would give this 5 stars but like I said everyone I've had ends up leaking around the lid o-ring seal. As long as you keep it under water you'll never know it's leaking.

Super helpful pre-filter
I have pine trees fairly close to my pool, in the summer when it’s really hot out they drop needles like mad. This leaf trap catches them before they ever make it to the filter skimmer basket. Super easy to open the leaf catcher and empty it. Great product, I highly recommend it.

Pentair Leaf Catcher`
Price was right. Delivered on time. I change these out every 2 years or so. They work great but you must keep the bag fairly empty to keep the pool vac crawling. It keeps the main filter basket at the pump clean. At least $25 less than Leslie's in town price.

Easier to Clean
This product is just easier to clean than the screw-top designs. This one I bought replaced a 7 year-old one I kept alive replacing two lids and latch kits. I gave up on latch kits and started using wire-wrap velcro which worked great and alot cheaper. This is my third one in 15 years but the Arizona sun is brutal to plastic. I kept the nets from previous ones which makes for quick back-to-service cleaning.

debris seems to accumulate in the upper portion
