Cheap, thin and loose
The first thing I noticed about this is that the aluminum was really thin and there was a lot of play/ slack at the connectors. The carriage bolt doesn't sit flush with the bracket when the bracket is affixed to the trailer, so it's got a lot of looseness and play. I had to go to the hardware store and purchase a longer carriage bolt because the one that came with the flimsy transom saver wasn't long enough to actually fit through the trailer frame. Every bump in the road causes a distinct aluminum banging sound.... not a good saverVerified purchase: YesCondition: New
