Camera for where you have no power
Mounted camera on my shed pointed at the back of my house. Even in winter the solar panel keeps it charged between 95 and 100%. Used wifi extender to boost wifi to shed. Lost signal a time or two but would say it’s connected more than 99% of the time. Unit is well built and app easy to use. The only thing that could be better is if the IR could be adjustable, as the camera is not mounted as high as I would like, but I can’t complain, as my plug in IR works great.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

The picture is great, when it works. Live View is awful. I have an excellent router and more than enough upload download speed. My camera never connected to live view. I’m sure most don’t have this problem, but I did. I refuse to buy a 50.00 WiFi extender after spending 160.00 for this camera. Night vision was pretty subpar too. Great security system!
Great security camera system. Ring cameras have all the options you could ask for. Super easy install and set up. I recommend the solar panel with the camera. Having the solar panel means that you only need one battery for the camera and you never have to remove from the camera to recharge. Let the sun do the work! Picture quality is excellent day and night. LED lights are bright. The App is easy to download and easy to use. "Ring" is the pioneer of security camera systems. Don't settle for cheaper products. Spend a little more and you'll be glad you did. Best part is that there is no contracts or bills. It's all at your fingertips no matter how far away from home you may be. Excellent Outdoor Camera Addition to Ring Alarm System
This camera does a great job overlooking my pool area behind my house. When motion is detected, a video is saved in the cloud (with a $10 / month 24/7 monitoring plan with Ring). It also connects to Alexa and notifies me of motion in the pool area while I'm somewhere else. The only thing I would prefer would be the capability of designating "motion zones" in the view field as can be done with the Ring Stick Up camera and Ring Doorbell. I purchased this with a single rechargeable battery, but a second one can be installed. I'm keeping it charged with the Ring Solar Panel, and one battery is sufficient. When it's dark outside, detected motion turns on the spotlight, which is bright enough to see the pool area at night on the video. Audio is also recorded.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Nice little cam!
The cam is a good cam Its just restricted to wifi zone. But we have a pretty big place and wanted it near the drive but our wifi cannot be moved at this time. Wouldn't work where we wanted but we put it right at the wifi end zone and it works great. its close enough to driveway right now I guess.
