    Worth it with qualifiers

45+ for what is essentially just a ac adapter and a box that converts the Kinect 2s port which is pretty much USB with a custom plug and extra power availability, and converts it to work on the Xbox one slim and I assume Xbox project scorpio via USB 3 port. It also works with Windows 10 and I checked packets to and from my router. Sorry to say no spying so it's safe to use. Please don't listen to the tinfoil hat wearer's or clickbait "news"sites Kinect 2 works with Cortana or traditional Xbox one voice commands. As of now the are almost equal in terms of speed to recognize what you said and it's pretty accurate Especially when using the original "Xbox do this" commands. Cortana commands take a bit longer to run, something the slim actually helps with so again I image Scorpio will be even faster. The Cortana issue is just how many voice commands she has compared to saying OK Xbox if Cortana is disabled. She can do 100s of different things that sync between phone apps and your PC (if you want). You can also add Cortana voice commands to Windows 10 which is handy Especially if your across the room and need to set an appointment or have it load a website for you. Again there are 100s of commands with more coming. On the Xbox you can use any mic to call up voice commands but only the Kinect has proper voice recognition per profile (Especially when you use the training app). One big benefit is Skype calls. I use it quite a bit and the Kinect will track you around the room zooming in and out as necessary. I have not tried Sky-pe with it on PC yet. Overall if you can get it for a good deal it's actually great especially for communication on either console or PC. That said after spending over a that using Xbox voice commands I can't imagine the system without them and the Kinect is incredibly accurate not only due to the quality of its directional noise filtering mics but because of the well written software behind it. Oh...There are actually a couple good games too believe it or not

Not what I was hoping for

I purchased this adapter to use one of my two Kinects on PC in hopes of using it as a webcam. Unfortunately, I should have done more research on the subject as it appears the Kinect 2.0 cannot be used for Webcam purposes in the general sense. There are some apps out there that will allow the Kinect to work as a cam but it's useless if you're wanting to use it for recording in OBS or use with Skype or any other actual programs as you are refined to those specific apps. Now if you bought a Windows Kinect version and wanting to convert it over for your Xbox then this will be the item for you. Fortunately it didn't cost to much, $28, so I won't complain. I'll keep it on hand or bundle it with my spare Kinect if I ever decide to sell it but at this point it's worthless to me.

  • Kinect adapter for XBox One S

The good - I can now use my Kinect from my old Xbox One on my newer One S system, so now I don't have to loose functionality on a few of my games. Also, it helps with logging into the system. The bad - An overly complex adapter. Wish it was a one-piece instead of a two-piece adapter. Also, the cabling is a bit long - ended up having to use some zip ties to compensate for the extra length. Overall - Not bad, only I wish the One S system had extra USB ports, and the adapter was a single piece instead of a two-piece adapter kit.

  • Xbox One S Kinect Adapter

If you are looking for a Kinect Adapter you probably know they aren't being made anymore which means there are a lot of the third party fakes out there. I was running into a lot of sketchy reviews and third-party adapters that had bad reviews. Since it isn't being made anymore it's obviously going to be more expensive which is the case with this seller but it is DEFINITELY worth it! The adapter came in on time in its official Xbox packaging and worked perfectly.

  • It works as advertised

Too much wires and boxes for a connector. Why Microsoft would make such an adapter a necessity to use the Kinect shows very poor design and forethought on their part. They advertised them for $24 and then no one had any or the few that did want 5 times what they were worth.

  • Real Microsoft Kinect adapter works with Win11

This is a real Kinect from Microsoft and it work with Win11. The cheap china one did not work at all but was OK with Win10. The counterfeit one only has wires to route the 12V. This one has several chips inside. I had to open it to change the power connector.

  • limited review

I bought this as a christmas gift to go along with Xbox one and Kinect camera. I did test it upon arrival and it seems to be working, however I cannot give full review until it has been properly used with xbox

  • Microsoft Kinect Adapter

This Kinect adaptor works as intended. No problems at all. I paid $139.99 for it. Compared to the price of $39.99 that Microsoft oriiginally sold it for, it was not a good deal. However when I looked at other sites on the internet. It was a great deal. If you want to play Kinect games with the Xbox One, this adapter is a must have item.

  • Great product.

Great product decent shipping. Will recommend anyone using it for Windows 10 to double check you have usb 3.0 or you will be needing a pci express 3.0 card. Even microsoft does not have updates for usb3.1 gen 2 boards yet.
