Great product and excellent value. Works well and is easy to install.
This product is awesome and definitely a very powerful peripheral for video capturing. I've looked into other brands, but landed on Avermedia and am not disappointed. Installed it to my son's computer in like 5 minutes, installed Avermedia software and after about 10 minutes of configuring he was up and capturing his gaming experience for his friends. Works great after some configuring.
Works great for capturing video. I had to buy an HDMI splitter from Amazon because of the annoying HDCP protection, but otherwise it works great. You might have to mess around in the official AverMedia software it working properly, even if you plan on using OBS. For example, it would not record any sound in OBS until I tried to record with the AverMedia software, but sound worked fine in OBS afterwards. In addition, even with an HDMI splitter, the capture card still detected the HDCP, and I had to disable HDCP detection in the AverMedia software. (You still need the splitter, because if you turn off HDCP detection without it, the video will be a garbled mess.)Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Quick and Easy to use
I opened my computer up, put it into a graphics card slot. Closed up my pc and turned it on. The card glowed blue, and I turned on obs, and the media input stream was right there. Granted I had to have an audio capture and a video capture as the audio wasn't picked up from the video input. But it works perfectly and had no visual or audio hiccups when monitoring it via pc audio. Passthrough works perfectly as well.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

Works effortlessly on programs such as OBS. Didn't need to install any driver or programs to make it work.
