Pretty Good for the money.
Overall the Holy Stone F181 is a pretty good drone, for the money. I have 3 of them, and all are the same. They fly well when everything works properly. I've had issues with the small pinion gears on the armature shafts coming off in flight. This of course makes the drone uncontrollable. They are also very sensitive to wind. Even a small amount of wind has a pretty noticeable effect on control. Overall they are fairly easy to fly, and the controls all work well.
The controller screen works well, and is easy to read in sunlight. I still don't understand all the information on the display, but the power level feature, lights, and camera indicator are Okay.
I feel one of the best features is the camera. It really works well, and takes very good pictures as well as video. In video mode you capture the motor noise, but also can hear other sounds in the area. The picture quality of both still photo and video is pretty good for such a small camera unit. You can adjust the lens angle from straight ahead to about a 45 degree downward .
My overall rating is Okay, because of the sensitivity to wind, and mechanical issues.
