Heaven has Absolutely NO Scent except alcohol and a bit of bug spray.
This is for the newly reissued GAP Heaven EDT Spray. I had all the Gap scents in the 90s and wore them every day. They were all very strong back in the 90s, a couple of sprays would stay with you for days. If you just TOUCHED the wax of an unlit scented candle, your hands would smell like the perfume all day. However, upon first sniff of this new HEAVEN reissue, I smelled a fragrance I never smelled before. It smells NOTHING like the original. I figured I'd still give it a try, I sprayed 5 sprays on my body after a shower. I couldn't smell anything but a faint bug spray alcohol smell. I sprayed 10 more sprays, walked out of the room, and immediately the scent vanished. I went up to my spouse who thoroughly sniffed me with 15 direct sprays of this having been applied less than 3 min prior, and he couldn't smell a thing. I went back in my room and dabbed a few drops of Viktor and Rolfs Flowerbomb on, that was hours ago and I can still *only* smell Flowerbomb, everywhere, all over my body. I would think I maybe got a bad bottle, but... I also bought Dream and OM (which was my fav scent ever and I was so thrilled to see it came back). I had to use about 40 sprays of OM to have a light fragrance (it isn't as rich or yummy as the original), though 4 hours later, NOTHING. Dream smells close but not exactly like the original and lasted a bit longer - maybe 8 hrs if you use 20-30 sprays. I never have had to spray so much on myself in my life for any scent. Usually so many sprays would make me and those around me sick. I bought all 3 bottles from different sources. I think Gap used the cheapest perfume oils possible and heavily watered them down when they reissued these. They aren't even close to being as strong as a body spray, I don't know how they call these EDTs. Such a bummer. Would not reorder.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned
