Basement Weight Machine
For people wanting top quality weight equipment in a low overhead room this is the machine you want. We have an 82" height in our basement and this fits nicely with inches to spare. I am familiar with Body Solid equipment and only wanted to go this route. The machine's pulley system is smooth and well made. The 160 pound weight stack is fine for us. Good little gym.
I bought this to replace a larger Body Solid gym as I'm now in my 60's and don't need one that big. The only problem is that this gym seems to be made for smaller people. I'm only 6' and the seat is very low and even then, when I use the seated shoulder press, it hits the hooks that hold the lat bar, so I cut them off. Other then that it is a well built gym that is very easy to use. The seat and back rest do adjust for various excercises and 160 lb weight stack is adequate and can't be added to. Shipping takes at least a week longer than advertised. The unit comes in several boxes tied to a pallet. The instructions are excellent and it is easy to assemble except for the collars for the seat and back. All assembled, the unit is compact and great quality.
