Outstanding Quality, Reliable Functioning, Extremely Robust
The vast majority of .22 auto magazines for any pistol function well enough but are finicky, extremely fragile, and a pain to load. These magazines are the exception. Made of precision die cast aluminum, they are extremely rugged, easy to load and function flawlessly. An added benefit of the cast construction is that the cast construction far better emulates the weight of .45 and 9mm M1911 magazines than any stamped or plastic magazine. Solid magazine, great for practicing 1911 drills with .22 Vs 9mm or .45.
Heavy magazines, made of steel approximate weight and size of a fully loaded 1911 9mm or .45 magazine. Dims are almost identical. The follower can be replaced with a +4 follower and the base plate with a +2 baseplate and spring making it a 16 round magazine. However, at 10 rounds, it runs like a 10 round 9mm 1911 for practice when you count your shots, do tactical reloads, etc. Does not quite lock in when inserted in a 9mm or .45 1911 preventing chambering issues between your service arm and practice .22.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Great mag, but lighter than my stock mag, May or May not be normal
Works great, only issue is it’s slightly lighter than the one that came with my Gsg. I have no idea if this weight difference is normal and if the mags have a variability in build. The magazines were identical to the magazines that came with the pistol. They were made by the company that made the firearm.
