Don't wait like I did, get one now. I did without for a long time, this makes splitting the hive open so much easier. less stress on da bees too. the small wood chips burn out too fast, have to mix some larger chunks with the small stuff. If you don't want to spend a lot of money for the more expensive smokers this smoker will do the job that the expensive ones do. Cheap in price and made the same, but very useful, Mine is working in my second bale of pine shavings.
For the price, it's a good smoker. It is not a high dollar Smoker, but does the job well enough, I bought this one for my grand-daughter. I have one just like I purchased 3 years ago. The lids do not close easily on the heat pot, and the finger pull handle will straighten out before you can get it open.
