Having just downsized, I was looking for a small counter height table set that would be of excellent quality as well as matching my loft style decor. When I saw this set for the price it was offered at I thought it must be of poor quality, but other reviews raved about it, so I made the purchase. Yes, it is time consuming to put together-however not difficult. As other reviewers stated, you can't tighten all of the pieces until each item is loosely assembled, then go around and firmly tighten. The chairs are super comfy and there is adequate room for 4 people to gather without bumping one another.
