Compact and easy to use
This Fender FT-1 tuner works great for me. I only use it for guitar. It is easy to use and takes up very little space in my guitar case. There is only one negative for me and that is because I'm old and have arthritis. The length of the clip handles is short making it difficult to open for me. The spring tension may relax over time and make it easier but straight out of the package it is hard for me to get enough pressure on it to open up to clip onto the instrument. That is the only thing that you might consider if you don't have good hand strength. Other than that it works great and is easy to store. I would recommend it.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Where's the battery..
Very small works best on Chromatic setting..Box states that tuner includes battery. I bought two units neither had a battery.. so buying batteries increases the cost of the tuners. At that rate I probably would have bought something different..Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Simple, Affordable And Accurate
This device is a deceptively simple tuner for guitar, bass, ukulele and violin, plus a chromatic option. I do not play violin, but the options I have tried work well. The tuner consists of a small screen mounted on a swivel with a padded clip, so you can mount it on your instrument and adjust for convenient viewing. Tuning is easy. Select the instrument, then the screen will display a small meter like a speedometer or VU meter which will change color when the needle is centered indicating that the correct pitch has been achieved.
