This is great for a nervous dog. My older dog slips on most ramps. She freaks and her nail slip on hard surfaces. This ramp is soft and she can grip!!

Ramp works well
Don’t forget to attach the safety strap to the latch catch before the dog attempts the climb. Ours immediately moved the ramp, and without the retainer, would have slipped off the tail gate. Had that happened, I doubt he would ever attempt it again.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
