You can easily change the order of effects, or the character of the Tremolo or Reverb with the Hydra’s smart Alt Controls. You can even create an Infinite Hold Reverb Trail. Save up to three presets with ease using the intuitive save feature. Engage Reverb Trails on the fly, no more internal dip switches.

Beautiful sound with some impracticalities…
I absolutely love the verb and trem flavors this pedal offers. My only quibble is the tap trem is hard to engage - tap and hold the switch for 1 sec, then two taps to set the tempo. Not something I’d even attempt in a live setting. And while the compact style is great and the effects can be engaged independently, it’s just physically difficult to hit one switch and not the other. It sounds amazing though!!!

Keeley Hydra! The answer to versatile reverb & trem!
Watch the YouTube videos on this pedal. It is fantastic. On my board it follows a vintage Arion SCH-1 Chorus and the effect is pure 1980s alternative. The trem function works extremely well and so much versatile than the on-board vibrato in my amp. Of course the reverb and trem into a Fender Tweed that lacks either is magic. Keeley Rocks! I have their Aria and recommend it as well.
