Cats Deserve These Stairs, Too!!
Small dogs are not the only animals who LOVE these stairs. My cats have a set at each bed and use them all the time. Sometimes they deliberately sit on the top stair to keep the other cat from using them - sometimes they chase up them - sometimes toys are "hidden" on the stairs . These stairs allow them to "claim" the beds without having to leap over 30" up and off, thus putting less stress on their legs and hips as they age and being able to "sneak" up on you quietly. I was really worried this thing was going to be really flimsy based on what others have said. But I'm pleasantly surprised how good it is. I don't think it's flimsy at all. I like it just fine, the quality is ok, just kinda flimsy, it’s not for a very large dog. My chihuahua is about 6 pounds.
