Great little device
Setting it up was amazingly simple, especially if you have an iPhone or any other apple device. It’s exactly what i needed for streaming. There are so many features I need to explore. Siri is quite handy.

Happily Surprised
Wasn't sure I needed an Apple TV because we have cable with a bunch of premium channels, but I glad we got one... not just for the original programs (loving The Morning Show), but the ability to play stuff from our phones and laptops on to our big flatscreen wirelessly is a awesomefeature that we use all the time. PS The model #'s and Generation #'s are a bit confusing... just remember that the newer better models have silver remotes... the ones they are phasing out have black remotes.

Excellent TV companion!
It a time to upgrade my old Apple TV 4 to a 4K version. Although the old one performs really well with Sony Bravia TV upscale feature I still want to experience a true 4K movies. What to say? Amazing ) Not regret a thing.

Expensive but worth it
This second gen Apple TV 4K is a nice product. Picture quality very good, remote is intuitive, good variety of apps available through the App Store. Power button also turns on my video display and my home theater pre-amp. If you have an apple product and wish to cast an image or video onto your big screen wirelessly, this unit gives you an easy way to do it.

Great sound
This was a replacement for my old Apple Tv too old to update lol . With the HDMI > optical adapter i am able to connect direct to my stereo of 2 channels with the sound chip in the Apple Tv the sound is leagues better then the old Apple Tv playing direct from iCloud or phone music library . The 4k i only used the video for set up and use my iPhone as remote to my music library .

Good upgrade from prior models.
I have had three Apple TVs over the years plus a collection of Rokus, Fire TVs and Chromecasts. This is the best performing streamer I have had the privilege to use. It is quick, the remote has been massively upgraded and the video quality is excellent. On the downside, if you you don’t rent or buy your content from iTunes, it is not as good as Roku. You have to jump on a browser and buy it outside if the gilded gates of Apple world. Also, if you are an Android person, the casting does not support Chromecast. For the typical Apple user this is the best. And the high price matched the performance. If you are a basic user, Roku will sell you a streamer that does most of the same things for at least half the price. Recommend

Great Unit with one gotcha
Love the unit overall. Moving up from a 2018 Roku Ultra this is just about perfect. The only gotcha I found was they upgraded the Controller but removed the motion sensors... come on. So now most all the games on the app store can't really be utilized because they all depend on that motion integration. BIG misstep and I am sure the 1st Gen remote had it's issues, just look and you'll see it does, to remove this just makes no sense to me. If it had motion built in like the 1st Gen Siri remote this would be 5 stars 10 out of 10. -My use case solution? Just buy an old 1st Gen remote and call it done. Have my "gaming remote" and my everything else upgraded remote. Simple enough.

THE NEW SIRI REMOTE MAKES ALL OF THE DIFFERENCE!
I loved the remote so much, I bought it for my old 4K Apple TV that I put in my office, instead of using LG's natural apps. It's like having the latest Apple 4K TV with the new remote. Pairing was super easy and it works so much better. Tactile feel of the remote is what makes the difference, you don't feel like you're on ice skates :o)

Make the move!
The setup was intuitive and simple. It was a massive upgrade from my old Apple TV, which was at least 10 years old. I really like the ease of use of the new remote, and the overall quality of the apps and picture really make this a real upgrade from previous models. Well worth the additional cost!
