A remarkable, and surprising, series that was (temporarily) cancelled after one season. But, inundated with response from fans, a second season has finally been released. First of all, the photography of LA is absolutely gorgeous, especially on blu-ray. But the main thing is the great writing, scripts, stories, set design, and acting. It would be hard to imagine a 'devil' as sexy, funny, smart, and beautiful as Tom Ellis. But he has great support from a great cast. Each one is a wonderfully-drawn character. Lucifer Season 1 Blu-ray
The 3-disc set for Lucifer Season 1 is well made. Both the video and audio are clear and clean. And the music!... Whoever is choosing the song clips that frequently 'lead in' a scene or punctuate an emotional moment are geniuses. There's even a growing online community of people who appreciate TV show music. Lucifer's is right up there with the best of them. Many TV shows ( like 'Castle') are not available in Blu-Ray, and I am very glad that Lucifer is. It enhances the experience a lot. I was hoping for a lower price, considering Season 1 was only 13 episodes, but paying $30-$35 to watch my favorite show whenever I want to, is still a bargain.
