NotesThe second in a series of tribute albums from Failure To Communicate Records. This one a lot darker and more melodic than the previous tribute, which was to The Cure. THis one features more gothic and darkwave artists such as Audra, Unto Ashes, and In The Nursery. But it does have it's rock n' roll moments as well via The Brides, Ahab Rex & The 14s, as well as the albums creator and label owner Sheriff Scabs. The original artwork is beautifuly painted by James O'Barr who is best known as writer, illistrator, and all around creative force behind The Crow comic books and movies. His painting was intended soley and specifically for this album cover (notic the 2 headstones that read OBARR and CURTIS). This is a limmited release CD, with only 100 copies printed. It is a fnatstic album and getting much praise from Joy Division and New Order enthusiests, as well as people who never really cared much for either band. THe album holds up on it's owm, let alone pay homage to two of the greatest bands of modern music.
