A pretty good borescope camera
This camera does mostly what the manufacturer claims, it has 2 camera modes and an adjustment to vary the light source output. It is well made, has a long-lasting battery, and the companion phone app is easy to download and use on your cellphone. On my Android phone in combination with X-Finity internet I have to open settings/connections after starting the Depstech camera and turn on the Depstech network which is annoying but easy. The other feature I wish this camera had was a way to electronically aim the camera. I bought the camera to explore cylinder bores on an antique car by inserting the camera thru a spark plug hole. I had to do a lot of "pre-forming" of the fiber-optic cable bundle to get the camera aimed in a somewhat useful direction in the cylinder. I was finally able to get some useful images of the cylinder walls and the top of the piston. I captured images using the still-camera function and switching from front-view to side-view camera modes. This saved dis-assembly of the cylinder head, a big job, to get the information I wanted about cylinder health and piston material. See pictures attached.
