Notes2022 release. Dragon New Warm Mountain I Believe in You is a sprawling album exploring the deepest elements and possibilities of Big Thief. To truly dig into all that the music of Adrianne Lenker, Max Oleartchick, Buck Meek, and James Krivchenia desired in 2020, the band decided to write and record a rambling account of growth as individuals, musicians, and chosen family over 4 distinct recording sessions.

  • it's okay

I really liked big thief's previous records especially sanctity. This one was listenable and okay just no really outstanding tracks. I would kind of describe this record as sounding like country -folk music if played by hippies (ok i'm dating myself) Still very much anticipating their next record. Need a new copy of ufof cuz I scratched mine real bad...wish I could trade this for a new copy of ufof.
