Philips Sonicare 4100
The product works well, but do not like the sonic application. It tickles my gums and almost makes me laugh while brushing my teeth. Slowly getting used to it, but the biggest issue is with the gums on the inside front (both top and bottom). Hence I am giving this a 4 and not a 5. Best toothbrush ever
I bought this same toothbrush about 2.5 years ago and it was transformational for my teeth and dental care. Unfortunately it finally stopped working a few weeks ago and bought the exact same one. During that time unitl i received the order, I used a normal toothbrush and could instantly feel the plaque buildup. The 4100 Sonicare radically reduced all the basic plaque around my teeth in a matter of a couple of weeks and kept it at bay for the duration. Note, I use Arm & Hammer Advance White Breath Freshening Toothpaste, which is by far the best toothpaste you can possibly get (that's for another review) and it has helped reduced any cavity development, keeps the plaque off my teeth and is verified by my dentist as having radically improved my teeth. I can't recommend this product enough as it will change your life (well, maybe not so extreme!) but certainly your dental care ability. A perfect toothbrush for travelers.
Because it is smaller and much quieter than my other electric toothbrush by Philips Sonicare it is difficult to tell if this toothbrush is as efficient. It seems to do a very good job, though, but is it durable? Time will tell. For now, I am very satisfied with it. Newer model sonicare is great
I've used a sonicare toothbrush for a long time. I think it's at least 15 years old. Maybe 20. It finally failed recently. This unit is an update to the older one. It uses the newer brush head that my old unit was having trouble with. This unit charges via USB cable instead of the old wall plugin. The base is not compatible and I wish it was. Using the unit seems better. The old unit had many settings, of which I only ever used the first one. That setting is still the first setting on this unit.
