  • Fabulous fabulous wonderful... Let me tell you something I'm getting pretty old but I am so happy with my Oxford difficult word dictionary !!

It was raining and it started to turn to snow as the school bus stops. I'm a little too close I realize but I see a child waving holding up his hand and yelling to his mother that it is snowing it's snowing it's snowing! And so it was She was so happy to receive him and the bus waited for him to cross the street... I see hand it over his umbrella and hat and was taking off his boots he remembered something... He ran back to the door and yelled something to the bus driver and kept waving his hands wildly he had forgotten to say goodbye. Wow. A few seconds later as the school bus pulled away three wild turkeys found themself in the middle of the road in front of my car making their way a little too casually across the road. I put on my hazard lights and I slowed to a stop and I could hear them and I could hear the diesel exhaust from the school bus and I could hear some afternoon birds and there was a new song on the radio.. a sad song like a dirge like an old Johnny Cash song or an old undiscovered Hank Williams while he was drunk song. When I get home I'm going to look at my books and I'm going to have the feeling that people have when their children run to them or their dog greets them or whatever the hell it is that makes them feel like they need to go to the sports bar.. And here it is right here and although I must admit there is a part of me that still has a long list of hard covers the complete total unedited edition of the Oxford under bridge dictionary of English and all it's however many 30-something $2,000 or whatever it is... Buy a stroke of luck I was able to miss law School however I still have a Jones for all of the supreme court filings all of the state and municipal law books and all the appended versions all those books you seen behind people on TV... Except I actually like to read them shepherdizing.. My wife is a librarian. I am a failed writer. Seriously think about it and imagine just how much more happiness I have each and every day because of this stupid little paperback. And yes I do crack it open and yes I write in it after all it's my book now. And by now you've probably forgotten to ask but I'll tell you anyway... Yes I make all of my paperbacks into a kind of hardcover using copper tape and cardboard... I'm constantly having to get rid of books because so many keep flowing in I am a failed writer but I am a happy man. I believe I am a happy man to a much larger degree than I realized because I am a failed writer but NOT a failed Reader. ### How did you like these apples! Just think of how many people have won the Nobel prize for literature and you have no idea what their f****** name is. One of them is going to be me. All real art is anonymous Thank you for forgetting. And thank you God for this precious human who I see and speak through time. The first time machines were invented in the caves of l a s c a u x Fr. Books. Time machines. Precious humans. This time with you has meant more to me than you will understand now... But I promise you someday you will think back to this stupid review and you will remember that I was not joking it was not said in just or sarcasm or with any kind of snark or ulterior motive straight as a police report I am saying to you... Someday you will come to know and you will be so happy then because you will then know just how very importantly happy how much this time with you has meant to me. SVG
