Replaced a 1-1/2" tall mast that was on my car with this 4.7" in hopes that the radio reception would improve, as the shorter mast reduced my radio signal to static on most local stations. Alotta reviews of these antennas are bad. But i have to say this one works great. Wish they sent SAE thread instead of metric thread adapters but they give u four adapter's so u can make something work. Other than that reception is as good as stock antenna on my Ram 1500! Thanks
