  • It was here and I read it

So, I set out getting this book for my daughter to read, but I was between books and figured I'd try this book with an open mind about youth and suicide. It seemed to fall just a bit short of ever pulling me in like some books can, you know the type, you're reading away then all of a sudden you snap out if it to realize you were so immersed into the book that reality had drifted away. The story line just felt a bit too thin and watered down for me to be satisfied. I do however feel that it would be a very good book for teens to read. It can open a much needed conversation between adults and teens to speak about everyday stresses, depression, and other symptoms that can lead to suicide.
